There's no payline diagram, no obvious left-to-right read, and a giant 7×7 grid full of pastel sweets. That's intentional — Sugar Rush throws out the payline rulebook entirely and pays based on clusters. Step 1 — Pick a casino

Step 2 — Open the game

Step 3 — Set your bet

Step 5 — Sticky multipliers (the interesting bit)
This is the mechanic that gives Sugar Rush its identity. Watch a single spin carefully:
- A cluster of 5+ pink hearts lands. It pays.
- Symbols explode. New symbols tumble in.
- Another cluster lands — and this time, one of the cells involved was also part of the first cluster.
- That cell now has a 2× multiplier locked to it. A little number appears on the grid square.
- Tumble continues. If that same cell participates in a third winning cluster, the multiplier doubles to 4×. Then 8×, 16×, 32×, 64×, and a final cap at 128×.
When a winning cluster crosses multiple multiplier cells, the multipliers multiply by each other at payout. Two cells each holding 8× produce a 64× total multiplier on that cluster's base pay. That compounding is how the 5,000× max win becomes reachable.
It's worth noting: this caps at 128× per spot, not 1,024× — that higher cap belongs to the sequel Sugar Rush 1000, which is a different game.
Step 6 — Trigger Free Spins
Three or more scatter symbols on the same spin trigger Free Spins:
- 3 scatters → 10 free spins
- 4 scatters → 15 free spins
- 5+ scatters → 20-30 free spins
The killer mechanic: multiplier spots persist across all free spins in the round. If you build a grid full of 8×, 16× and 32× multiplier cells on spin 4 of Free Spins, those cells stay multiplied for all remaining spins. The math compounds across the entire round, not just per-spin.

Step 7 — Stop while you're ahead
This is the rule everyone hears and no one follows. Free Spins in Sugar Rush is emotional — when you've just hit a 300× round, the temptation to keep spinning the base game hoping for another trigger is enormous.
The math doesn't care. Each spin is independent. After a 300× win, your odds of triggering Free Spins on the next spin are the same as before the first one.
